Kathleen Gatti

CEO

Kathleen has been involved with the daily operations of Med e-care since 2011, assisting with our transition to a SaaS application for the Ontario Long-term Care Sector.

In 2014, Kathleen took Med e-care’s strategy global and started our first international offices in Manchester, UK. Under Kathleen’s supervision, our UK team has grown and Med e-care is now a market leading solution for the Health and Social Care sector with integration with all major pharmacies in the United Kingdom.

In returning to Toronto to lead Med e-care’s business, Kathleen brings her experience of helping to improve product, process and profitability for the next stages of Med e-care’s growth and expansion of solutions to serve all parts of the care sector globally.

Kosi Segbedzi

Head of Product

Joining Med e-care in 2014, Kosi first worked as a Clinical Applications Analyst. From there, he advanced to Med e-care’s Technical Lead for IT and Development. His experience on the front line, taking end-user support calls and managing client relations has influenced him in improving the efficiency and usability of our programs.

Kosi’s experience as the Technical Lead for Software Implementation for select corporate clients enables all new partners to benefit from his wide ranging experience dealing with both internal and external systems and integrations.

Working with Med e-care’s Product Managers as the project sponsor for UK features, Kosi provides our corporate clients with increased insight into what new features are planned for Med e-care’s Development Roadmap and offers them a pathway to share requests and feedback with our team. 

Kosi is Med e-care’s lead on Integration and Documentation surrounding both Medication and Resident Interfaces. Through this experience, Kosi has understanding of HL7 and other recognized standards of Health Data storage and retrieval. 

Prior to commencing working with Med e-care, Kosi worked within the Fire Safety and Security industry. Through this experience, Kosi gained vast experience with creating, testing and reviewing policy and procedure.

Liz Price

Head of Operations

Liz joined Med e-care in October 2018 having previously worked closely with Med e-care since 2013 to bring their eMAR solution to the UK in her role as eMAR Implementation Manager at LloydsPharmacy. Her team were the first in the UK to offer their care home customers an interfaced eMAR solution. Liz helped to shape the solution for the UK market. Her team implemented the solution for our care home partners and went on to develop a market-leading “train the trainer” model of implementation.

Liz has over thirteen years of experience in pharmacy. She is a qualified Health Care Assistant and Dispenser, specialising in the care home sector for the last six years.

Her areas of expertise are in Operations and Project Management. She is highly organized and is a skilled and effective communicator. Her key strengths are in improving efficiency and streamlining processes and procedures.

Liz manages the Implementation & Training and Support teams in the UK and Canada. She is passionate about coaching and developing her teams to ensure that they consistently demonstrate and deliver the highest standards of customer care.
