e-ADT (Admission, Discharge and Transfer)

In MED e-care e-ADT a comprehensive set of resident information can be recorded; use e-ADT to track resident location and status; maintain census period information for billing; centralize resident information and link with other MED e-care applications, both clinical and financial. Information from e-ADT flows seamlessly to all areas of the software, reducing redundancies and ultimately saving hundreds of work hours.

e-Assessments

MED e-care e-Assessment incorporates the Retirement Resident Full Assessment (RRFA) that meets all requirements included in the Retirement Home Regulatory Act. As well, a wide range of additional custom assessments are included that effectively address clinical and activation needs. This module is easy to navigate and is displayed in an appealing visual design.

e-Assessment Form Builder

e-Assessment Form Builder provides the Retirement facility with the ability to create brand new assessments and modify existing MED e-care assessments. Sites will also be given access to the e-Assessment Form Library – a comprehensive index of hundreds of assessments for the Retirement sector. The facility can customize which assessments they choose to make visible, creating a site-specific environment.

Relationship Builder

Relationship Builder uses MED e-care’s PUSH technology to push data from any completed assessment into a resident’s care plan, automatically generating a best-practice care plan and ensuring consistency across a resident’s clinical documentation.

This fully customizable module drastically decreases care planning documentation time, allowing valuable staff time to focus on resident care.

e-Plan (Care and Activity Plan)

e-Plan allows staff to create and maintain clinical care plans and classification documentation for long-term care, retirement and complex continuing care. e-Plan links nursing, dietary, activity and rehabilitation departments for quick and easy tracking of resident care. Facilitate smooth communication among staff and departments with the Kardex and assignment sheets, allowing for a unified working facility and a reduction in documentation errors.

e-Notes

MED e-care e-Notes makes daily progress and critical incident tracking quick and easy. e-Notes links directly with care plans and vital sign tracking ensuring consistency across a resident’s chart.

e-Notes allows staff to set and monitor incident thresholds for the individual, unit and facility and will automatically alert your supervisory team in order to maintain an optimum level of care.

Generate detailed reports that will benchmark your facility against national and international best-practice standards.

Point of Care (POC)

MED e-care POC allows staff to access key information, document care provided, track dietary and fluid intake, assign and document rehabilitation services and work with fully customizable flow-sheets directly from the resident’s bedside. MED e-care POC operates with an intuitive touch-screen interface that is designed to work with wall-mounted screens, mobile tablets and laptops. POC enables the facility to improve quality of care, quality of documentation and optimize reimbursement.

Business Performance Management (BPM)

MED e-care’s powerful BPM software is designed for managing and analyzing quality indicators for organizations of all sizes, from an individual facility to a national care corporation. Track and analyse indicators such as Staffing, Financial Information, Clinical Indicators, Environmental Issues, Dietary Information and much more. The BPM metrics can be fully customised.

The data is reported in easy-to-read reports, facility and corporate ‘score cards’ and color graphics for ease of analysis. Simplify the analytical process and ensure necessary data is in the right hands.

The product is designed for comparing major areas of risk and significant core competencies in various departments. The facility can be separated into key areas where unique indicators can be created and tracked for each department, facility or region.
